Nadira Khatun is an assistant professor at School of Communications, XIM University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. She was visiting assistant professor at McMaster University, Hamilton from January 2021 to January 2022. Her research and teaching interests are film studies, cultural studies, post-colonial theory, popular culture, Muslim identity, Indian cinema, media representation, and new media.
